Hi, my name is Meike Wouters. And you know when someone asks you the question “what do you wanna be when you grow up?” I always said I wanted to do something in fashion or at least design something and look where it already gotten me, I’m now a fashion student based in The Netherlands. And I really like what I’m doing right now, also from myself I’m not really an extrovert person but I try to be when I design.
I always used to be creative from a young age, I liked to draw and just be creative. Especially those ‘Top Model’ books, I used to be obsessed with those. I thought I made the best outfits on those models, but now when I look back at those drawings, I see how creative I tried to be, but It was more of a ‘yea well you tried, but your drawings sucked’. But if I could draw those clothes now it would look kinda fire I guess.
Later on I started to grow my interest in fashion more and began to watch runways on YouTube from designers such as Dior, Chanel, YSL and many more, that was when I wanted to be just like them. And also design such amazing fashion or art.
